GONZALEZ BRAVO

González Bravo was born in 1944 in Badajoz, Spain. Although his origin is Spanish, Bravo trained in drawing and painting in Portugal, and has resided there for over 30 years. His work is now displayed in various galleries throughout Portugal. The delivery and intellegence of Bravo were first revealed at his solo exhibition held in Conference Room Iberia, in Lisbon in 1981. He exhibited the following year at the Casino Estoril, and in 1983 in Madrid, Lisbon and Cascais-Portugal, platforms that enabled the spread of his speech, which was made most creditworthy to international circuits.

With participation in collective exhibitions and art fairs: FAC, Lisbon; Art Fair-Palm Springs in California, or Lineart in Ghent, in exhibition areas of Ostend, Dusseldorf, Paris or Prague, and various contests, getting the First Prize “Free Topics” Hall of Fall Casino Estoril in 1981 and the First Prize of the National Watercolor XII Certamen Caja Madrid in 1989.
